Being a woman in western culture there can be a lot of pressure on us. Beauty standards can sometimes be unrealistic, synthetic and expensive. If you’re not nipped, tucked and plucked then you’re not living up to the western beauty standards. Beauty can sometimes be painful but there are ways to ease the pain. For instance, wear those cute shoes that make you feel beautiful without the discomfort. Sole Patches are the cutest little self-adhesive pads that you stick inside your shoes. You can stick them wherever you feel discomfort in your shoes and voila! No more pain. Whether your favorite cute shoes are 6-inch stilettos or combat boots, get comfortable.
The temperature here in Colorado has been below zero, so my cute shoes have been boots! Trudging through the snow in anything but waterproof boots would be a death wish. Ice and snow are everywhere and the last thing I need is to be slipping down the front steps on my way to the car! My comfort level went up in my boots once I added the Sole Patches. Having a flower shape to the patches makes them super duper cute. Doesn’t hurt that the shape helps us feel less like old ladies.
Having little flower patches in heels wouldn’t look horrible. Let’s look at a few other reasons that I like these patches for shoes:
Why I like them:
- They have a cute shape to them.
- Thin enough they won’t feel bulky.
- Comfortable to walk on.
- Feel almost nonexistent unlike other patches.
- Comes with 6 patches so plenty to go around.
- The price is only $9.95!
If the price is right then it’s time to go shopping! After wearing these patches for a week I’ve noticed that they haven’t lost their shape at all. The only shoes I’ve been wearing is my boots because of the snow so they’re getting plenty of wear. I cannot wait to actually wear them with a pair of cute heels once the ground isn’t icy.
So far I have not found anything bad about these patches. The only thing I didn’t like was how much of a pain it was to open up the packaging. Then again I’m not the best at opening packages, so that’s probably me just being a defective package opener!
If you’re looking for strong support then maybe go for a gel product. These patches are not going to fix serious everyday pains but they will make your shoes more tolerable. Check them out here and let me know how you feel about these in the comments!
