Hey everyone welcome back to That One Birch! Lately things have been quite a bit hectic so my blog posts have been a bit sporadic. For instance, I had this video that I had prepared to upload on Monday but haven’t gotten the opportunity until now. Life has dealt me a crappy hand since this new year started. I will be adding some posts soon(ish) telling all about my first week in 2017. But for now, I wanted to discuss what you can expect here at That One Birch in the very near future.
Due to the fact that I originally created this video for YouTube and Facebook, I figured I should make it a post too. If you didn’t come here to read then you can scroll on down until you reach the video. Either way you’re getting a big dose of me in your face.
Recently I created a YouTube channel that I want to get up and running. My goal is to be able to crank out 1 (maybe 2) videos per week. Which is how I came up with the idea of a segment called Cooking Can Be A Birch. Cooking tips and tricks that will help you with the basics. Whether you’re new or have been cooking for sometime, I intend to cover how to cook with different pots & pans, using different knives, and easy recipes! Which means that each week there will be something food related. Who doesn’t love food?
The second thing will be another new segment. A brand new section that will be catering to military families. Since I am a military spouse I have some experience with the military life. So there will be posts where I give advice, tell of my experiences, and any tips and tricks that I’ve learned. I’m currently working on a couple of topics that relate to deployment which will be posted as soon as they’re ready! I am really looking forward to this segment because I’m currently going through a lot. If I can share these experiences with others then that would make it worth it. The best way to learn from mistakes is through experience, so I’ll let you have some of my experiences to save you the trouble in the future!
So that’s the gist of the video you see above. I did have to do some cutting of it because Arya came over to whine and paw at me anxiously. Also I started to ramble on about affiliations and sponsored posts. Since I cut that part out I’ll share it with you here anyway!
From time to time I will be doing sponsored posts on That One Birch that may be here on the blog, YouTube, or my social media. No matter what I am doing a sponsored post on, my opinions of the products will always be honest. If sponsors don’t want honest opinions then they’re not right for me. Rest assured that all my opinions are always my own.
That’s all I’ve got for you right now. As I state in the video, if there’s any questions, comments, or opinions then leave a comment. You could also subscribe here or on YouTube to stay up to date with me.
